Job summary

JPMorganChase's Firmwide Privacy Office invites a Privacy Program Director to shape and lead the global privacy program, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA and other regulations while enabling data-driven business.

You will design and oversee PIAs and the Individual Rights program, mentor teams, develop governance docs, and collaborate with business, technology, legal, and controls to embed privacy by design.

Qualifications

• Expert experience in privacy program design, implementation, and management within a large, complex organization.
• Deep expertise in Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Individual Rights under global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Proven ability to advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives and technologies.
• Experience conducting data protection impact assessments and privacy risk evaluations.
• Deep knowledge of global privacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the firmwide Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) program, including the design, implementation, and oversight of processes to identify, assess, and mitigate privacy risks in new and existing initiatives.
• Oversees the firmwide Individual Rights program, ensuring timely and effective response to data subject requests (e.g., access, deletion, correction, restriction, and portability) in accordance with global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Leads and supports emerging projects to enhance the firm's privacy program.
• Advises on privacy requirements for new business initiatives, products, and technologies, embedding privacy by design and default.
• Develops and maintains governance documentation, including policies, procedures, and standards related to PIAs, Individual Rights and other key programs.
