Job summary

YouGov in London is seeking an experienced Portfolio/Programme Manager to lead enterprise IT changes across finance and business systems. The role combines preparation, governance and delivery, with dual reporting lines to VP IT and Head of Enterprise Systems. Hybrid work and high visibility with senior leadership are key features.

You will build business cases, create resource plans, manage RAID logs, coordinate vendors and ensure benefits realisation from go-live onwards.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering end-to-end IT change projects.
• Strong ROI and business case development.
• Fluent planning, RAID, governance and status reporting.
• Experience with vendor selection and delivery partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to senior leadership.
• Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and dual reporting lines.
• Recognised PM methodologies such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP or Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Develop business cases and ROI models with consistent methodology.
• Build resourced project plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Establish RAID logs as portfolio-wide source of truth.
• Stand up governance with decision logs and reporting cadence.
• Produce comparable leadership status reports for prioritisation.
• Support vendor evaluation and procurement inputs for system selections.
• Transition projects into execution and manage delivery against plan.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Track benefits realisation and handover to business-as-usual.
• Create reusable templates and maintain portfolio health.
