Job summary

Innovate Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Engineering Product/Portfolio Delivery Lead to shape how complex electro-mechanical products are developed, reused and supported across a multi-project portfolio. You will balance engineering rigour with business outcomes and influence cross-functional teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering discipline experience across full product lifecycle.
• Ability to manage packages of work and maintain technical integrity across projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery activities across a portfolio of complex electro-mechanical products focused on technical risk and obsolescence.
• Embed Commonality, Modularity & Reuse principles with project teams to ensure designs are reusable and secure.
• Review benefits predictions for engineering realism and challenge assumptions as needed.
• Coordinate responses between Functions, Equipment Teams and Centres of Excellence, ensuring dependency plans exist.
• Ensure obsolescence removal doesn't break dependencies or downstream platforms.
• Support supply chain and commercial discussions by linking engineering decisions to cost and schedule impacts.
• Drive continuous improvement around commonality, modularity, reuse and obsolescence to ease delivery teams.
• Provide clear summaries of problems and lead small teams (5-6 people) to agreed outcomes
