Job summary

Stripe seeks a senior Solutions Architect to partner with executives and customers to translate business goals into technical architectures. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration across product, engineering and sales to own the end‑to‑end technical strategy for global platform prospects.

You will lead discovery, deliver compelling demonstrations, and ensure successful integration of Stripe’s Connect, Payments and Billing into diverse ecosystems, including ERP/CRM and legacy stacks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a customer‑facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer at a global software enterprise.
• Executive engagement skills and presence with ability to build credibility at all levels.
• Strong facilitation and leadership in customer meetings to drive strategic footing.
• Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and API architecture.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Deep understanding of Connect, Stripe's platform solution for enabling platform payments and its integration methods.
• Knowledge of Stripe Payments and Billing systems across diverse business models.
• Ability to understand ERP, CRM, Billing and legacy systems interaction within a platform ecosystem.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, juggling multiple opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the Platform account team, defining customer strategy and closing complex opportunities.
• Drive thought leadership and act as trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, COOs, CROs, and heads of product engineering and payments.
• Understand customer objectives and design Stripe solutions, mapping end-to-end transformation journeys and roadmaps.
• Conduct business analysis and research on customers, industries, and competitors.
• Lead strategy engagements, secure technical wins through executive briefings and solution demos.
• Expand Stripe footprint into new markets and units by introducing new capabilities and local payment methods.
• Act as Voice of the Customer to surface insights to leadership, product, and engineering.
• Participate in sales forecasting, QBRs, and account/territory planning.
• Guide pre-sales projects, coordinate proofs of concept and feasibility checks.
