Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Milton Keynes is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the site planning function and support the Daventry operation. You will oversee workforce deployment, forecasting, resource planning and analysis, ensuring service levels while driving efficiency across the operation.

This is a full-time role with standard hours (Mon-Fri) and some flexibility. You will work with operational teams, customers and agency partners to develop short-, medium- and long-term workforce plans

Qualifications

• Experience leading planning teams in logistics, warehousing or distribution.
• Proven ability to forecast resource needs and optimise staffing.
• Strong analytical and Excel reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning team to deliver daily, weekly, monthly and peak resource plans.
• Analyse data and forecasts to optimise labour deployment and recruitment.
• Coach and develop a team of planners; drive high performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, planning processes and efficiency.
• Build relationships with operations leaders, customers and partners; provide updates and planning insight.
