Cadent Gas Ltd is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Specialist in Coventry on a 12-month basis to lead the development and delivery of operational work plans that support safe, efficient and customer-focused performance across the network. The role requires leadership, strong planning and scheduling expertise, and the ability to translate workload forecasts into practical plans.

You will work with Operational Planning, Operational Delivery and Network teams to ensure resources are used

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience in fast-paced operational environments.
• Strong planning and scheduling expertise for short- and long-term work plans.
• Experience driving performance improvements and efficiency gains.
• Analytical approach using data to support planning decisions.
• Stakeholder management across planning, operations, and business support.
• Knowledge of project management principles in operations context.
• Effective communication and influencing skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Regulatory awareness and compliance, with a UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and delivery of short-term operational work plans.
• Manage short-term planning activity and align with long-term plans and regulatory priorities.
• Collaborate with Operational Planning, Operational Delivery and Network teams.
• Drive productivity, efficiency and delivery outcomes across the network.
• Coach and develop team members and foster continuous improvement.
• Review plans and analyse performance data to support recovery actions when needed.
