Job summary
Cadent Gas in Wolverhampton is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Specialist for a 12-month secondment to lead the development and delivery of operational work plans that support safe, efficient and customer-focused performance across the network.
You will head a specialist planning team, shape operational delivery by turning forecasts into practical plans, and drive productivity and performance while building strong cross-functional relationships. Interviews w/c 30/11.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in fast-paced operational environments.
- Strong planning and scheduling expertise.
- Experience identifying issues and implementing improvements.
- Analytical use of data to support planning decisions.
- Stakeholder management across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead short-term planning activity to support network performance.
- Ensure long-term plans are achievable and aligned to regulatory priorities.
- Collaborate with Operational Planning, Operational Delivery and Network teams.
- Identify root causes of performance issues and implement sustainable solutions.
