Job summary

The National Lottery Community Fund is seeking a Planning, Performance and Reporting Officer to join the England Operations Team. You will help shape how the directorate plans, measures performance, and uses resources, ensuring reliable data and strong governance across the organisation.

You will coordinate activities, support business plans and milestones, and provide operational and administrative support in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong digital skills with proficiency in Teams, Excel and SharePoint.
• Ability to record, analyse and interpret data to provide reports for performance and planning.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and workflows.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Experience providing operational, planning, or administrative support within a complex organisation.
• Passionate about the Fund’s purpose and values-driven culture of excellence in grantmaking.
• Understanding budgets and financial practices, including monitoring expenditure and interpreting financial information.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving systems and information flows to produce accurate reports and data.
• Coordinating planning and reporting activities across the directorate, supporting business plans and milestones.
• Supporting governance and risk management with timely, reliable information for decision-making.
• Providing administrative support to keep information up-to-date and governance processes running smoothly.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the Performance Function to maximise value.
