Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment in Gloucester is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the planning and monitoring of a major public sector construction project. You will coordinate bid phase to delivery, work with the Project and Operations teams to optimize methodology and programme, and drive timely execution of plans.

The role requires strong experience in Primavera P6, 4D BIM, and detailed reporting, with excellent communication and leadership skills to guide the project team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing planning and monitoring of large construction projects.
• Experience with bid-stage to completion planning.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and 4D BIM integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop project planning and delivery strategy with the Project Team.
• Coordinate pre-construction and construction methodologies for efficient delivery.
• Create and maintain project plans, programmes, and Planning Reports.
• Report project progress and support weekly dashboards.
• Assist in chairing weekly planning meetings and coordinating programmes.
• Assess delay impacts and support event analysis.
• Collaborate with the BIM Coordinator on the 4D BIM model.
