Job summary

ABB LTD is seeking a Planning Lead for our Analytical business line to translate forecasts and priorities into feasible production plans. You will balance service, inventory, and operations while collaborating with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to deliver on commitments.

You will drive demand and capacity planning, maintain master scheduling, and support S&OP processes. Your role requires hands-on leadership, data-driven decision making, and a focus on continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Supply Chain Planning within manufacturing.
• Strong experience in Demand, Capacity planning and MPS.
• Proven S&OP experience with monthly planning cycles.
• SAP/ERP planning system experience and MRP knowledge.
• Inventory management expertise and service level focus.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and time-phased build schedules.
• Balance demand, capacity, and inventory to optimise performance.
• Track KPIs and report on production, shipment, and inventory plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep plans aligned.
• Oversee master scheduling, load levelling, bottleneck management.
• Maintain ERP planning parameters and resolve MRP exceptions.
• Support S&OP processes with input on demand and capacity.
• Analyse performance and drive continuous improvement across product lines.
