DLP Planning Ltd is a leading employee‑owned planning‑led practice in the UK. We are seeking a Director to lead the Sheffield Office, manage development projects, and build our client base across private and public sectors.

You will direct major planning applications, policy work, and team growth, while maintaining high standards and stakeholder relationships. A full driving licence and RTPI chartered status are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years plus professional experience in planning or related consultancy.
• Postgraduate qualification in Planning and Chartered membership with RTPI.
• Proven track record in leading teams and securing new business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sheffield Planning Office and develop its project portfolio.
• Build and grow the planning team and oversee client instructions.
• Develop opportunities in growth sectors while ensuring profitability and standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff and report to senior management.
