Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is looking for an experienced Director of Planning to lead the UK planning practice, driving growth and delivering strategic planning advice on major infrastructure and development projects.

You will mentor and develop planning teams across regions, win high‑value opportunities, and collaborate with planning, environmental, engineering and design colleagues to ensure technical excellence and outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership track record in planning consultancy or similar setting.
• Proven ability to win and deliver major infrastructure projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
• Strategic thinking with a delivery focus across multiple regions.

Responsibilities
