Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire seeks a Senior Pharmacist - Interface, Formulary and Medicines Value to lead in formulary development and medicines optimisation across the Trust and system.

You will collaborate with clinicians, APC committees, and primary care teams to ensure evidence-based, cost-effective prescribing and to shape access to medicines for patients within the Coventry and Warwickshire area.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist with current UK practicing licence.
• Experience in formulary management and medicines optimisation.
• Experience with APC processes and cost-effective prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the formulary review and management from secondary care perspective.
• Coordinate APC activities and implement formulary changes across Trust and primary care.
• Support GP practices and Practice Pharmacy teams with formulary education.
