Job summary

University Hospitals Tees is seeking a People Risk and Compliance Partner to join the People Directorate at University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton-on-Tees. You will help drive governance, risk management and assurance across the Trust, ensuring compliance with NHS standards and employment law.

The role involves audits, horizon scanning and delivering insightful reports to support improvements in governance and employee experience. Based at the Stockton-on-Tees site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management and research methodology.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to write reports.
• Understanding NHS regulatory and compliance frameworks and employment law.
• Ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support governance, risk management and assurance across the Group.
• Ensure compliance with NHS standards and employment law requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and horizon scanning.
• Prepare reports and committee papers for governance processes.
• Lead cross-cutting people projects to strengthen governance and accountability.
