Job summary

Our client in Newcastle is seeking an experienced People Partner for a 3-month fixed term contract. You will provide hands-on HR support across both operational and strategic activity in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Reporting into the Head of People, you will build strong relationships with senior leaders, support change initiatives and review policies to ensure legislative alignment. Based in the North East with weekly commute to the Newcastle Head Office.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior HR professional with a business-partnering mindset.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and policy development.
• Ability to drive change across a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day HR support across operational and strategic activity within a commercial environment.
• Build strong relationships with leaders to ensure a high-quality HR service.
• Support HR leadership with change activity, including TUPE where required.
• Review and update People Policies and Procedures in line with legislative changes.
• Provide best-practice HR advice and guidance to stakeholders across the organisation.
• Contribute to change management and transformation initiatives.
• Lead and support short-term HR projects and employee relations cases.
• Advise senior managers on HR initiatives including performance management, talent development, and training.
• Coach and mentor a small team of People Advisors to ensure consistent delivery.
