The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishops Stortford, and St Margarets Hospital in Epping.

We employ 4,000 people and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishops Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.

We are currently looking for an innovative and experienced HR professional to join us as a Strategic People Business Partner. You will operate as a people expert, being responsible for the provision of high quality strategic and operational workforce support to ensure best practice people management within your area of responsibility, and across the wider people function. With the release of the NHS People Plan, NHS People Promise and our own PAHT2030 strategy, there is a lot of focus on enhancing our people experience - why not join us on our journey?

Working closely with the divisional triumvirates and other key managers and individuals, you will lead on all aspects associated with the forward planning, modernisation, engagement, motivation and performance of our people.

In Addition, You Will Embed Excellent People Management Practice And Standards; Ensuring Increased People Management Capability Within The Trust There Are Four Distinct Role Functions Of a Strategic HR Business Partner:
