Job summary

Environment Agency in the UK is seeking a Partnerships Advisor to join the Defra Group Fleet Services Partnerships team. You will drive communications and engagement that support fleet transformation and sustainability, building partnerships across EA and Defra to deliver improvements aligned with government commitments.

You will lead stakeholder engagement plans, translate complex fleet requirements into clear messages, advise project teams, identify risks and champion best practice to embed

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering planned communications, engagement or consultation activity.
• Experience leading engagement with diverse stakeholders and influencing decisions.
• Experience supporting complex change programmes through communications and engagement.
• Ability to develop clear engagement plans and key messages aligned with business priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefings, reports and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of communications and engagement activity that supports DGFS priorities, programmes and strategic objectives.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the Environment Agency and wider Defra Group.
• Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement plans, including workshops, briefings, meetings, events and consultations.
• Translate complex information into clear, accessible communications for operational teams.
• Provide communications and engagement advice to project teams and service leads to manage change.
• Identify engagement risks, issues and opportunities, escalating and proposing solutions.
• Champion best practice in communications and engagement across DGFS.
