Job summary

Matillion in Manchester is seeking a senior strategist to serve as the analytical backbone for the company’s most senior business forums. Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Business Operations, you will drive independent investigations into critical topics and surface game-changing insights to influence executive decisions.

This role is hybrid and requires visiting our Manchester HQ at least once a month. You will translate complex data into decision-ready narratives and set the benchmark for how

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategy, business operations or high-growth B2B SaaS.
• Experience orchestrating MBR, QBR, or Board-level cadences.
• Fluency in core SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets for modelling; working knowledge of BI tools to build dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Drive independent investigations into critical, high-impact topics for the business.
• Influence executive decisions through rigorous thinking and clear communication.
• Write MQBR and executive offsite agendas; structure cross-functional narratives and surface insights.
• Translate complex data into decision-ready clarity for senior leadership.
• Visit the Manchester HQ at least once a month.
• Own the forum agenda and set the benchmark for how Matillion understands its performance.
