Job summary

Matillion is seeking a strategic partner to drive operational investigations and influence executive decisions. Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Business Operations, you will lead high-impact analyses, structure cross-functional narratives, and deliver decision-ready insights that shape company growth.

You will write the playbook for performance reviews, MQBR, and offsite agendas, translating complex data into concise recommendations for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategy, business operations or high-growth B2B SaaS.
• Experience orchestrating MBR, QBR, or Board-level cadences.
• Fluency in core SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn, pipeline) and how they drive decisions.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for financial/operational modelling; working knowledge of BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Go where others haven't—lead independent deep-dives that move the needle.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Gather context across the business to surface patterns and the right questions.
• Set the narrative and baseline for Matillion's performance understanding.
• Own the MQBR and executive offsite agendas, structuring narratives and driving insights.
