Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a CYP PICU/LSU Pathway Nurse Consultant to provide expert clinical leadership across the East of England Provider Collaborative. You will work with senior leaders, nurses, case managers and service users to turn ambitious CYPMH plans into lasting changes.

You will bring advanced CYP and PICU nursing experience with a track record in professional leadership, innovation and implementing evidence-driven service improvements.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Learning Disability Nurse with extensive post registration experience.
• A management qualification or equivalent experience.
• A leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
• Nursing professional registration.

Responsibilities

• To provide strategic nursing input at senior level and to ensure effective advice to the Collaborative and other management team members.
• To work in close collaboration with other senior members of the collaborative, and external agencies, contributing to the planning and delivery of high-quality service with regards to the development of CYPMH inpatient and community services.
• To develop nurse-led initiatives regarding care programmes, which incorporate the postholders higher level of practice, advancing nursing practice and opportunities for patients treatment, intervention and mental health and physical care needs providing specialist nursing advice and input.
• To be able to participate in national workstreams for the development of CYPMHS PICU services and CYPMHS PICU initiatives.
