Job summary

Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Management Accountant role within the Financial Management team. The position is full time with hybrid working on site at Birmingham Children's Hospital and from home.

You will maintain the financial ledger, provide financial management support to clinical or corporate groups, and ensure timely, accurate reporting. The post encourages CCAB/CIMA study and offers a generous study package.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within an NHS management accounting finance function.
• Ability to produce concise, accurate and timely reports.
• High level of competency using computer spreadsheet applications.
• Working knowledge of SBS Oracle finance system and Microsoft Office software applications.

Responsibilities

• To maintain the financial ledger and provide financial management support to Clinical or Corporate Groups.
• To process accounting information in accordance with the monthly timetable and meet reporting requirements.
• Post is training-focused; study for CCAB/CIMA qualifications through CCAB bodies.
