Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to drive and run a suite of new technology solutions across the global organization. You will lead the Network Team, shape engineering strategy, and guide projects from conception through delivery, ensuring reliability and security.

Qualifications

At least 10 years experience in network engineering.
8+ years hands-on experience in routing, switching, wireless, segmentation (Cisco).
Experience working in manufacturing, qualified or regulated environments.
Strong understanding and knowledge of SDN (Software Defined Networking) technologies (Cisco SD-WAN, VMWare NSX).
Solid knowledge of Network Access Control (especially Forescout).
Understanding hybrid cloud environment (Azure, GCP, VMware).
Familiar with network security solutions.
Strong communication skills with multiple examples of being able to convey complex ideas in a manner that resulted in a definitive direction and result
Experience in Wireless LAN (Meraki, Catalyst, Outdoor Wireless)

Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders through documentation, presentations, or client meetings.
Represent the team in meetings with other teams and stakeholders to discuss issues and status updates.
Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the organization.
Bridge communication gaps across security, development, and product management teams.
