Job summary

Experis UK is seeking Network Engineers at varying levels of experience to join our growing technical team. You will design, implement, maintain, and enhance enterprise network infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security across environments.

You will work with infrastructure, security and platform teams on routing, switching, and modernization. The role offers exposure to SDN, cloud networking (AWS/Azure), automation, and monitoring tools, with opportunities to mentor junior

Qualifications

Strong foundation in TCP/IP, routing and switching.
Experience supporting enterprise networks and security.
Familiar with multiple vendors (Cisco/Juniper/Arista/HPE/Fortinet).
Understanding SDN and data centre networking concepts.
Ability to work with automation and IaC tools to improve operations.

Responsibilities

Support design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN and data centre networking.
Monitor performance, investigate faults, and resolve incidents.
Assist with upgrades, migrations, and transformations.
Configure switches, routers, firewalls, and related devices.
Support security controls, VPNs, access policies, and secure connectivity.
Maintain documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
Assist capacity planning, performance tuning, and resilience improvements.
Engage with virtualization and cloud networking concepts.
Contribute to networking automation and IaC initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable services.
For senior candidates: lead work packages, mentor juniors, influence architecture.
