Colonial Group is seeking an IT Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain our network infrastructure, including on-site and cloud components. You will manage data/voice networks, security, and VPNs while supporting IT operations and 24/7 on-call coverage.

Strong Cisco, firewall, and cloud networking experience is essential. The role requires a degree in CS/IT or equivalent, professional Cisco/Microsoft Azure credentials, and hands-on experience with Meraki SD-WAN and security

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCSA and Azure Network Engineer Associate or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an IT Network Engineer or a similar role.
• Experience of Cloud networking and Security.
• Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP.
• Configuration/deployment of Cisco hardware (Catalyst/Nexus).
• Configuration/deployment of Cisco ASA and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Experience with Meraki SD-WAN and network security best practices.
• Knowledge of VoIP, PSTN, and wireless networking.
• ITIL qualification or equivalent is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, deploy and maintain the organisation's network infrastructure with SLAs.
• Develop and implement cloud networking strategies for public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Implement and manage network security measures (firewalls, VPNs, cloud security).
• Provide technical support and guidance to IT support team and liaise with 3rd parties.
• Maintain documentation for IT infrastructure and network configurations.
• Participate in capacity planning and network expansion projects.
• Be 24/7 on-call and provide out-of-hours support.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
