Job summary

Welsh Women's Aid is recruiting a management professional to lead the Membership, Services and Engagement team. The post provides strategic leadership and coordination between specialist VAWDASV services and key statutory partners across Wales, ensuring safe, effective support pathways for survivors affected by the early release of prisoners programme.

The role focuses on developing resources, promoting trauma-informed practice, and delivering training to strengthen practice across the sector.

Qualifications

Experience in service management or project management at a strategic level.
Evidence gathering, service development and improvement experience.
Comprehensive understanding of violence against women, domestic abuse and safeguarding.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and partners across Wales.

Responsibilities

Coordinate between specialist VAWDASV services and statutory partners to ensure safe pathways.
Maintain consistent inter- and cross-team communication to reduce duplication.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and quality frameworks are met.
Develop strategic and operational work plans, write progress reports and briefings.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the sector.
Deliver project direction and prioritise activities as directed by line manager.
