Job summary

Plexal seeks an National Security Innovation Consultant to lead innovation projects and collaborate with our consulting team on cross-competency work. You will engage with startups, scaleups, corporations, government, and academia to deliver evidence-based outcomes and guidance for clients.

You’ll design practical models and deliverables, manage stakeholder engagement, and contribute to business development with bespoke proposals, including opportunities across AI, data, space, and telecoms

Qualifications

• Educated to Bachelor degree level or equivalent.
• Experience with innovation, startups or technology policy is preferred.
• Ability to design robust experiments and present findings clearly.
• Willingness to travel nationally and obtain SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovation hypotheses and associated experiments to test them.
• Deliver experiments and interventions to yield evidence-based outcomes for clients.
• Design practical models, frameworks, and approaches for client change.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and market research on emerging technologies and themes.
• Form insights into AI, data, space, telecoms, engineering biology areas.
