Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a Strategic National Account Manager to lead a three-strong Account Management team and drive a c£20m major account. The role splits time between our Milton Keynes head office and client meetings, with a WFH element, and requires a commercially driven leader with a proven track record in contract electronics manufacturing.

• Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations and quality to deliver world-class outcomes.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, budgets and performance reporting to the Managing Director.

As our Strategic National Account Manager, you will be leading a team of three Account Managers delivering against a strategic account valued at c£20m of revenue. You'll be a coach, a mentor and client facing. Splitting your time between head office and client meetings, you'll be a commercially driven individual with a proven track record in contract electronic manufacturing.

BASIC SALARY:

£65,000 - £75,000

Strategic National Account Manager - Contract Electronics

This role is a strategic leadership role where you will be the driving force behind key relationships with one of the most respected names in UK defence sector - an organisation where precision, process, and performance matter.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of 3 direct Account Managers, working closely with support teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee and develop a major account worth c£20m, ensuring relationships are driven across all UK sites at senior stakeholder level.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality to deliver world-class outcomes.
• Work closely with the Managing Director accurately reporting forecasts, budgets and performance.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

To be successful in your application, you'll be a people leader, someone who takes pride in developing others, consistently managing the fine balance between customer satisfaction, profit and what's right.

You'll need experience of:

• Sub contract manufacturing, ideally in electronics, PCBA, and have
• Managing a multi-million complex account
• Cross functional people leadership driven by collaboration, development and partnerships Management.
