Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal Consultant to grow our Data, Modelling and Analytics team in the UK & Ireland. You will lead strategic modelling projects, set up modelling scenarios, and extract and present results to clients and stakeholders.

The role requires expertise in transport modelling, Python, and multiple modelling tools, with responsibility for delivering high-quality outputs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex data and datasets in transport or analytics.
• Proven ability to model demand and public transport scenarios.
• Proficiency in Cube, VISUM or EMME and Python.
• Strong client-facing and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead on small/medium projects.
• Execute tasks to quality, time and budget.
• Specify information requirements directly to the client.
• Identify information needed to deliver tasks.
• Review junior staff's analysis.
• Stakeholder, client and cross-functional relationship management.
• Demonstrate thoroughness and judgement in analysing information and presenting conclusions.
• Take responsibility for defined sections of SYSTRA reports and ensure delivery to time, cost, quality.
