Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in Swindon seeks an Inventory Controller & Production Scheduler to manage inventory and develop detailed production schedules for the Compounding Manufacturing operation. You will work closely with Operations, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Engineering, Customer Service and Finance to ensure materials are available when needed and customer commitments are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in Inventory Control, Supply Chain or Production Scheduling in manufacturing.
• Strong SAP knowledge including planning, inventory management and MRP processes.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels to support production requirements and customer demand.
• Drive inventory accuracy, stock control activities and inventory health performance.
• Monitor and manage excess, obsolete and ageing inventory.
• Balance service levels, working capital, supply risk and manufacturing requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory performance and reduce waste.
• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for the Compounding Manufacturing operation.
• Translate customer demand into achievable manufacturing plans.
• Balance material availability, capacity, labour resources and operational constraints.
• Proactively identify and mitigate supply or scheduling risks.
• Monitor schedule adherence and drive operational performance improvements.
• Support the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
• Help establish best-practice processes for planning, inventory management, master data and MRP.
• Support business adoption, continuous improvement and optimisation following implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory management, planning and customer service.
• Share best practices across manufacturing operations and value streams.
