Job summary

Confidential is seeking a meticulous Material Planner in Goole to drive material demand planning and forecasting accuracy. You will collaborate with operations, procurement and project teams to ensure material availability and optimal inventory levels while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.

The role focuses on data-driven planning, cross-functional influence, and delivering reliable forecasts to support multi-project programmes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in material planning, demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning.
• Experience supporting or leading IBP and/or SIOP processes.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve material demand planning and forecasting processes.
• Analyse demand signals to create accurate material forecasts.
• Plan and schedule material requirements to support operations and projects.
• Coordinate with operations, project managers, and procurement to ensure material availability.
• Identify supply risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Support integration of planning activities across the supply chain and stakeholding functions.
• Monitor KPIs and develop reports to inform planning decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and planning tools.
