We are currently looking for a Strategic Marketing Associate to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. This position sits within a marketing team and offers exposure to the strategy and execution behind a commercially significant therapy.

As the Strategic Marketing Associate you will be responsible for supporting marketing projects and digital solutions while taking ownership of key initiatives. Based in the Berkshire area, you will work closely with Marketing Solutions Leads and Digital Solutions teams, with opportunities to engage senior stakeholders and collaborate across functions.

This Strategic Marketing Associate position combines hands‑on delivery with insight into strategic healthcare marketing. You will develop your project management, analytical and communication skills while gaining practical experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.

This is an initial 12 month contract with possibility to extend and offers hybrid working (3 days from home).

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Strategic Marketing Associate will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• As the Strategic Marketing Associate you will lead and coordinate digital content development, including emails, social media posts and webinar content. Work with digital colleagues and external agencies to take projects from initial brief through delivery, tracking budgets and keeping activities on course.
• As the Strategic Marketing Associate you will organise meetings, congresses and events, coordinating the practical details to support effective execution. Partner with the sales team to develop relevant, impactful materials for healthcare professionals.
• As the Strategic Marketing Associate you will own the internal review and approval process for marketing materials, coordinating feedback and progressing content through the appropriate checks. Take a proactive, solutions-focused approach to resolving issues and contribute positively to the team’s ways of working.
• As the Strategic Marketing Associate you will analyse market insights and campaign performance to inform strategic decisions. Turn findings into practical recommendations and present these to senior marketing leaders, helping shape future marketing activity.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Strategic Marketing Associate we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

• A strong interest in healthcare and marketing, supported by curiosity about immunology and how marketing strategy translates into practical activity. A life science or business-related degree would be preferred.
• Evidence of leadership, initiative and commitment through extracurricular activities, internships or part-time roles. You will be proactive, resilient and comfortable taking responsibility, with the confidence to communicate with senior stakeholders.
• An analytical mindset and an organised approach to competing priorities. You will be able to interpret information, suggest actionable next steps and demonstrate an interest in developing digital marketing and project delivery skills.
