Job summary

Placr Recruitment is recruiting for a Manufacturing Planning Planner role on the outskirts of Eastbourne, East Sussex. You will coordinate production schedules and liaise with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Production to meet delivery deadlines.

The role requires strong organisation, analytical skills and experience in production planning or scheduling. Proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP systems is important; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Confident using Excel and business systems.
• ERP/MRP experience and a manufacturing background would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production schedules across manufacturing teams.
• Liaise with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Production to meet delivery deadlines.
• Monitor orders, production capacity and material availability, identifying potential delays.
• Maintain accurate order information and scheduling data using internal systems and Excel.
• Track delivery performance, produce reports and support continuous improvement.
• Build strong working relationships across the business to keep production running smoothly.
