Job summary

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Kent based client to recruit for a Buyer. You will be tasked with taking ownership of the full purchasing process from receipt of order to delivery into my client.

This will involve the management of suppliers, cost negotiation, and management of inventory. Responsibilities include processing and expediting orders, ensuring no shortages or delays, monitoring supplier performance, identifying cost savings, and assisting with sourcing of new

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in a Purchasing role from a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience of working with an MRP/ERP system.
• Good numeracy skills and experience of negotiation.
• Strong computer skills including Excel.

Responsibilities
