Job summary

Forge Talent is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join the finance team in the United Kingdom. You will own the monthly management accounts, close processes, and provide senior stakeholders with accurate reporting and insights into margins, ROI and business drivers.

The role requires proven management accounting experience, professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE, strong Excel, and a hands-on approach to improving processes and controls across budgeting, forecasting and cash

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to model scenarios.
• Ability to analyse KPIs and provide actionable insights.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Track record of improving processes and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts and month-end close.
• Produce timely MI for senior stakeholders.
• Analyse margins, ROI, KPIs and performance.
• Reconcile balance sheets and monitor intercompany balances.
• Maintain fixed asset register and VAT returns.
• Support annual audit and budgeting processes.
• Forecast cash flow and contribute to improving reporting.
