Michael Page is seeking a Management Accountant to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes, from preparing reports to managing budgets and supporting decision-making.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, assist with budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, collaborate with other departments, and support year-end audits with strong controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification or actively pursuing one.
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• The ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage and control costs.
• Oversee cash flow and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
