Job summary

ShelterBox is seeking a proactive Major Donor Fundraiser to build and manage a growing pipeline of supporters across the UK. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, qualifying prospects and developing bespoke cultivation plans to secure long-term philanthropic commitments.

You will collaborate with leadership, volunteers and stakeholders to deliver engaging proposals, events and tailored communications that drive giving.

Qualifications

• Experience in major donor fundraising and building long-term donor relationships.
• Ability to analyse donor data and identify high-potential prospects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major donors, delivering tailored stewardship and opportunities.
• Develop cultivation plans and coordinate donor engagement with internal teams.
• Prepare proposals, reports and updates for donors and supporters.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to steward top high-level donors.
• Lead prospect research to identify new donor opportunities and connections.
