Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join the Central Logistics team at Hilmore House. You’ll plan and communicate key Fresh, Bread and Produce events, coordinating between central teams and stores to protect product availability while minimising costs.

You’ll lead logistics projects, manage stakeholder relationships, and track deliverables to ensure on-time, compliant operations across inbound and outbound networks. A proactive, organised approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to plan, map and manage logistics events.
• Strong communication across cross-functional teams and sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver communications and governance for key Fresh events and day-to-day inbound to outbound operations.
• Manage communications between central teams and operational sites, issuing weekly logistics bulletins and urgent updates.
• Lead Fresh logistics projects (site line movements, store openings) with senior stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage relationships across Logistics, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Track deliverables, map processes, and mitigate risks and operational issues.
• Review end-to-end Fresh processes to identify efficiency opportunities and remove wasted effort.
• Maintain quality and adherence to business rules across Fresh logistics operations.
