Job summary

Linxon in Didcot is seeking a Project Buyer to source local purchases and manage day-to-day site and office buying for our substations projects. You will identify UK suppliers, negotiate long-term agreements, and ensure purchases stay within budget while coordinating with site stakeholders.

You will onboard local suppliers, visit sites as needed, and verify invoice amounts against PO milestones, leveraging Oracle ERP to track orders and payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, accounting, or finance department.
• Good knowledge of Oracle as ERP system
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Local purchases and have idea about local supplier market in UK.
• Negotiate with the suppliers, make agreements for long-term purchases.
• Coordinate with the key site stake of site and office purchases understand the requirements and place orders within budget and cost.
• Onboard local suppliers and visit the sites if required.
• Checking if the invoice amount matches with PO milestone payment.
