Job summary

eNL Legal is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Director to drive growth and strengthen client relationships across Birmingham and the West Midlands. You will lead strategy, identify opportunities, and work alongside Partners to expand the firm’s client base and revenue streams.

With a strong track record in law-firm BD, you will influence senior leadership, deliver measurable outcomes and shape the firm’s market profile in a competitive legal landscape.

Qualifications

• Requires a strong understanding of the private practice legal market and how law firms operate commercially.
• Proven experience in a senior business development, marketing or client development role within a law firm.
• Excellent knowledge of the Birmingham and wider West Midlands legal and business communities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing the firm’s business development strategy and growth plan.
• Collaborating with Partners and practice leaders to identify and convert opportunities.
• Strengthening relationships with key clients, referrers and strategic contacts in Birmingham and West Midlands.
