Job summary

Bright Selection are pleased to be working with a well-established home care provider to recruit a Learning and Development Manager. This role shapes and delivers the organisation’s learning and development strategy, working with managers and senior leaders to ensure staff have the knowledge, skills and support needed to provide high-quality care.

The position blends strategic planning with hands-on training delivery, including induction, mandatory and professional development programmes,

Qualifications

• Recognised training, teaching, assessor or learning and development qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Strong background designing, delivering and evaluating learning programmes.
• Knowledge of learning management systems and training compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the annual learning and development strategy.
• Identify skills gaps and future training requirements.
• Design and deliver induction, refresher, mandatory and professional development programmes.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, e-learning and workplace-based training.
• Support employees throughout onboarding and probation periods.
• Work with managers to create development plans and succession pathways.
