Job summary

Barcombe Church of England Primary School federation in East Sussex seeks an Executive Headteacher to set a long-term strategic direction across Barcombe, Hamsey, Plumpton and Iford & Kingston primary schools. The role focuses on raising attainment and strengthening Christian distinctiveness within both Church of England and community school settings.

The post requires building strong partnerships with parish churches, the diocese, governors and staff, while enabling Heads of School to lead

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to set long-term strategic direction for a federation of schools.
Experience in raising pupil attainment across multiple sites.
Ability to empower Heads of School to lead their sites effectively.
Experience working with governors, parents, carers and staff.

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic vision for the federation that is achievable and sustainable.
Create a culture of high expectations and raise pupil attainment across all four schools.
Empower Heads of School and senior leaders to lead creatively and take responsibility for each school's flourishing.
Work in partnership with governors, parents, carers and staff.
Promote the Christian distinctiveness of the Church of England schools.
Build deep and effective partnerships with parish churches and the diocese.
