Job summary

The Bank of England seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Regulatory Data Group (RDG) within the Data and Statistics Division, driving data stewardship for PRA datasets and advancing data transformation initiatives.

You will work with senior stakeholders to shape strategy, build a capable team and ensure high-quality data to support policy, analysis and decision-making across the Bank and external bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Regulatory Data Group, delivering regulatory data stewardship for the PRA.
• Manage senior relationships with PRA stakeholders and represent DSD in governance forums.
• Ensure RDG is structured, resourced, with clear accountabilities and succession plans.
• Review operating model, ways of working and resource allocation for resilience.
• Manage RDG budget and collaborate with peers to optimize resources.
• Support and champion delivery of DAT and DSD strategies.
• Provide strategic leadership and foster continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Lead teams through change, aligning skills and capacity to deadlines.
• Build relationships with senior leaders and external organisations to influence outcomes.
• Communicate complex issues clearly to diverse audiences.
• Understand data governance, data quality management or data stewardship frameworks.
• Lead workforce planning and capability development.
