Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a senior pharmacist to lead medicines optimisation across Planned and Critical Care. The post holder will provide strategic, operational and professional leadership to ensure effective pharmacy support and evidence-based, cost-effective use of medicines across the division.

The role involves leading and managing pharmacy staff to deliver services to agreed standards in line with business planning and to provide an advanced clinical service

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational and professional leadership in relation to medicines optimisation across Planned and Critical Care.
• Lead and manage pharmacy staff in the Planned and Critical Care Division to ensure service delivery.
• Provide an advanced clinical service to patients in areas such as Surgery, Critical Care, Trauma, Theatre, MSK or parenteral nutrition.
