Job summary

Secure Trust Bank plc is seeking a Head of Decision Science to build a modern capability combining credit expertise, advanced analytics and automation. You will lead model strategy, governance and commercial outcomes while staying closely engaged with technical detail.

You will shape decision science strategy, develop scorecards, affordability models and predictive solutions, and modernise tooling with Python/SQL.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk modelling or Decision Science within consumer lending.
• Strong governance, documentation and validation practices.
• Ability to translate analysis into practical lending strategies.
• Degree in a quantitative field preferred; postgraduate study welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Shape decision science strategy and roadmap.
• Lead development of scorecards, affordability and predictive models.
• Modernise analytics environment with Python/SQL and reusable frameworks.
• Collaborate with Technology, Data, Credit Strategy and Product teams.
• Build and lead a high-performing Decision Science team.
