Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Land & Planning Manager to lead acquisitions and planning activity within the Land Team. You will work with internal teams to drive land opportunities and support planning strategies for residential developments.

In this role you will liaise with planning consultants and authorities, conduct viability assessments, and manage stakeholder relationships including landowners and local communities. A relevant degree and professional progression are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong background in land acquisitions and planning.
• Experience negotiating option, promotion, or unconditional land deals.
• Ability to prepare viability studies and cost projections.
• Knowledge of planning processes and local authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify off-market plots, brownfield sites, or strategic land opportunities.
• Negotiate option, promotion, or unconditional land purchases with landowners/agents.
• Prepare viability studies and cost projections for developments.
• Collaborate with planning consultants and authorities to navigate planning systems.
• Maintain relationships with tenants, landowners, and statutory bodies.
