Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an Assistant Planner to join the Land & Planning team in Lancashire. You will assist in planning appraisals, submissions and related applications for residential sites under the guidance of the Planning Director.

Ideal candidates will have a planning degree (RTPI accreditation preferred) and the ability to adapt to changing requirements. A full UK driving licence is required, with contributory pension and life cover offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in development management or planning policy.
• Degree/Master's in Planning with RTPI accreditation preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to operate across sites.

Responsibilities

• Producing site assessments and analysing planning histories and policy implications for immediate and strategic sites.
• Prepare and project manage Outline/Full and Reserved Matters applications and discharge planning conditions.
• Liaise with internal designers, external consultants and local authorities to develop strong working relationships and secure approvals.
• Prepare Planning Statements and Design & Access Statements and other planning documents needed for submissions.
• Organise supporting information and attend stakeholder/public consultations with professionalism.
