Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Land Acquisition Manager / Acquisition & CPO Advisor to join our Land Assembly and Regeneration team in the UK. You will lead land acquisition, manage stakeholder engagement and negotiate agreements to support infrastructure, regeneration and housing projects.

You will advise on compulsory purchase processes, coordinate land referencing and collaborate with public and private sector clients to unlock development opportunities for communities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Surveying, Real Estate, Geography, Planning, Property or related discipline.
• MRICS Chartered status is required or highly preferred.
• Proven experience in land acquisition, land assembly, regeneration or property advisory projects.
• Strong understanding of compulsory purchase, land referencing and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead land acquisition and land assembly projects across infrastructure, regeneration and development schemes.
• Develop engagement and acquisition strategies to mitigate objection risk and secure land interests.
• Advise clients on compulsory purchase processes and statutory procedures.
• Oversee land referencing activities and coordinate suppliers and consultants.
• Negotiate with landowners, occupiers, developers and local authorities to achieve outcomes.
• Prepare project documentation, notices and related reports.
• Support planning and infrastructure programmes with land and property advice.
• Identify risks and opportunities and propose mitigation strategies.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice growth.
• Innovate and optimise ways of working for client objectives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Deliver projects safely, profitably and in line with Arcadis quality standards.
