Job summary

Equans is seeking an IT Solution Architect to join the UK IT Architecture Practice on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role covers Applications, Integration, Data, and Infrastructure, requiring delivery of scalable, secure technology solutions aligned with business goals.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and technical SMEs, produce high-quality architectural deliverables, and influence decision-making through governance forums.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent senior technology leadership role.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architectures, platform selection, solution assurance, and full solution lifecycle delivery.
• Experience shaping application modernisation, rationalisation, and digital transformation initiatives, including SaaS, COTS, and cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operate across a broad technology landscape spanning Applications, Integration, Data, and Infrastructure.
• Ensure designs align with architectural principles, standards, and security requirements.
• Lead discovery, assessment, design, and planning activities with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
