Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking an IT Solution Architect to join our IT Architecture Practice on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a competitive salary plus a company vehicle or allowance, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will shape and deliver technology solutions across applications, integrations, and data platforms, aligning with business requirements, architectural standards, and long-term roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent senior technology leadership role.
• Experience shaping architecture across Applications, Integration, Data and Infra.
• Ability to translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture practices and governance.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid platforms and API management.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver architecture across Applications, Integration, Data and Infrastructure.
• Ensure designs align with established architectural principles and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with UK Architecture & Business Analysis teams and global SMEs.
• Lead architecture reviews, governance, and project assurance activities.
• Produce architecture deliverables including designs, ADRs and roadmaps.
