Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking an experienced Solution Architect in the United Kingdom to lead complex transformation programmes across diverse sectors. You will stay hands-on with software engineering while owning solution design, technical direction, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Hands-on software engineering background.
Experience leading engineering teams delivering applications and services.
Proven solution architecture experience.
Strong understanding of architecture and delivery methodologies.
Ability to operate across architectural domains with deep expertise in at least one.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Confident in engaging multiple technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Create and assure key architecture artefacts including High-Level Designs.
Lead engineering teams and act as the technical SME.
Define technical vision and architectural guardrails.
Support senior stakeholders with cases for change, cost estimation, and planning.
Work across Business, Data, Application, Technology and Security domains.
Handle varied projects, clients and technology stacks.
